1. The empty lot next to my house is overgrown with weeds. Who cuts weeds on vacant lots?

Individual property owners are responsible for keeping weeds under control on their lots. If weeds become a fire hazard, the Fire Department will issue an abatement notice. 2. My street is in poor condition. When will it get fixed?

Street projects are funded under the City’s Capital Improvements Plan. Because funds are limited, street projects are prioritized by their use and overall driving surface conditions. To find out your street’s priority, contact (541) 469-1171.
