The Coos County Solid Waste Department will hold a planning meeting in City Hall Council Chambers, 898 Elk Drive, Brookings, at 1:30 PM, Wednesday, August 14, with local participating government and non-profit agencies regarding the upcoming Household Hazardous Waste event to be held next month in Brookings.
The meeting will include a presentation by Coos County Solid Waste Department staff in partnership with the Department of Environmental Quality. This will be the first Household Hazardous Waste event in Brookings to be sponsored by the Coos and Curry Counties Household Hazardous Waste Management Program.
