ALCORN RESIGNS FROM BROOKINGS COUNCIL
HODGES APPOINTED TO VACANT SEAT
The Brookings City Council accepted the resignation of Councilor Brad Alcorn, and appointed Isaac Hodges to fill the vacancy.
Alcorn announced his resignation at a special meeting on November 28, indicating that he would be giving his full-time attention to his upcoming service as Curry County Commissioner.
After declaring the seat vacant, the City Council immediately appointed Isaac Hodges to the City Council to complete Alcorn’s unexpired term through 2024.
Hodges is a life-long resident of Curry County who currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Experience Officer for Curry Health Network. Hodges has worked as an acute care nurse, emergency department nurse, and was a private business owner in the health care industry for 12 years. He has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oregon Health & Science University in 2015.
