[ARCHIVED] Brookings Airport Master Plan PAC Meeting #4 and Public Open House

Brookings Osprey City Logo

The City of Brookings staff and consultants will be facilitating a Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) meeting and Public Open House to discuss the Brookings Airport.

As part of the Brookings Airport Master Plan Update the City of Brookings and consultants will conduct up to five Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings and two Open Houses with members of the public and a select group of airport tenants, pilots, local and regional economic development interest, neighbors of the airport and staff/representatives of the City to ensure a collaborative public involvement and master planning process that develops understanding, explores solutions, and provides a realistic and achievable implementation plan.

PAC meeting #4 is the final step towards identifying the preferred alternative for future development at the airport.  The meeting will be an interactive discussion between PAC members and the Planning Team to confirm the best alternative necessary to satisfy the future demands on the Airport and begin to identify priorities for future implementation and capital improvement planning.

An Open House, which will follow the PAC meeting, will be an open forum to provide an opportunity for interested citizens and members of the public to review and comment on the information presented and discussed to date as part of the Airport Master Plan.

PAC meeting #4 will be held Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 6:00 pm.  The Open House will begin after the PAC meeting at approximately 7:30 pm.  The meeting will be held at the Emergency Operations Center (EOC), Brookings City Hall, 898 Elk Drive, Brookings, OR.

Due to COVID-19 meeting participants in the EOC will be limited and social distancing of six feet will be required and maintained.
