Brookings Airport – Airport Master Plan Kickoff Meetings
City of Brookings staff and consultants will be facilitating a Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) meeting and Public Open House meeting to discuss the Airport.
As part of the Brookings Airport Master Plan Update the City of Brookings and consultants will conduct up to five (5) Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) Meetings and two (2) Open Houses with members of the public and a select group of airport tenants, pilots, local & regional economic development interests, neighbors of the airport, and staff/representatives of the City to ensure a collaborative public involvement and master planning process that develops understanding, explores solutions, and provides a realistic and achievable implementation plan.
PAC Meeting #2 will be an interactive discussion between PAC members and the Planning Team to identify and verify the facility goals and requirements necessary to satisfy future demands on the Airport. The facility goals and requirements analysis will serve as the foundation for the development of three conceptual alternatives capable of satisfying future demand. Several concepts developed by consultants will also be presented and discussed with the PAC.
PAC #2 will be held on October 27th, 2020 and begin at 6:00 pm. The meetings will be held at:
Emergency Operations Center (EOC)
Brookings City Hall
898 Elk Drive
Brookings, OR 97415
Due to the COVID-19 virus, meeting participants in the EOC will be limited and social distancing of six (6) feet will be required and maintained.
