[ARCHIVED] Capella Volunteers Needed During Natures Coastal Holiday

The holiday season is a special time of year in Azalea Park and Natures Coastal Holiday light show and visiting the Capella by the Sea have become family holiday traditions!  To keep those traditions going we need Capella volunteers to greet visitors during the light show which is open nightly starting November 23 from 5 to 9 pm.

Capella volunteers can choose to work from 5-7 or 7-9 pm and can schedule to work just one night or regular weekly shifts during the holiday season.  Volunteers working the first shift pick up the key at the Brookings Police Department, open the doors, turn on the lights and heat, and set out the sign.  Those working the second shift reverse that process and return the key to Police Department.

Interested in volunteering?  please contact Lauri Ziemer at 541-469-1103 or lziemer@brookings.or.us for more details.
