Interested in knowing what’s going on in the City? Did you know there’s a quick and easy way to stay informed?
The City of Brookings website offers a feature entitled “Notify Me.” The link is located in the navigation panel to the right of the slideshow of photos on the home page.
When you click on the link, the site will take you to the Notify Me page where you can simply provide your email address and then select the items about which you wish to receive notifications.
Categories include Alert Center, Bid Postings, Government Jobs, News Flash, Calendar, and Agenda Center. Within each of those categories, you can further specify your choices.
To begin the notification process you need only provide an email address. There is no requirement to provide any other personal identifying information.
The City encourages all citizens to take advantage of this easy access to information. An informed public is an engaged public.
