[ARCHIVED] Brookings Harbor Community Helpers Emergency Food Bank Extending Hours

The Brookings Harbor Community Helpers Emergency Food Bank is extending its hours, Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to accommodate the needs of people being displaced because of the Chetco Bar Fire.

Please note that the Food Bank will ALSO be open on Labor Day, Monday, September 4th (also 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.)

Donations of nonperishable food items can be delivered directly to the Food Bank at: 
539 Hemlock Street, Brookings. Phone #541-469-6988.  The Food Bank is in need of pop-top cans of protein such as tuna, soup, chili, peanut butter and jelly, evaporated milk. It has a great  need for water and/or Gatorade. Also, it is asking for donations of toilet paper, feminine items, and diapers.

If there are after hours needs to be met, please contact Connie Hunter at 602-541-5903. Also, any special needs regarding veterans and military families, please refer to her, and she will gladly help with the referral AND LOCATING support.
