Due to the fire activity in the area and the ash accumulating the City of Brookings will close the Brookings Municipal Pool for the remainder of the summer. The Cardboard Boat Regatta scheduled for Saturday, August 26th has been cancelled. The City regrets having to close the pool early this year but looks forward to reopening next summer.
