[ARCHIVED] City Installing Sidewalk Ramps on Oak Street

To provide better access throughout the City and to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) recommendations, the City of Brookings is contracting with Gaylord Klinefelter to install two ADA sidewalk ramps on the east side of Oak Street at Redwood Street.

This project is one part of a sidewalk repairs program that is scheduled to take place throughout the summer in various locations.

Total project cost for the sidewalk program is about $3,200 with the Oak Street ramps accounting for nearly half that cost. Future project locations include Highway 101 in front of Premier Properties, in front of the post office and on Tanbark Road.
