The City received "Kudos" from Oregon Emergency Management Grants Manager, James Adams, during a site visit this past week to monitor progress on the City's Emergency Operating Center (EOC). Adams described the City's process for the design and construction of the project as "awesome." The process included using the City's Building Official as the project manager as well as a local designer and contractors. Adams also had good things to say about the flexibility of the design which will allow for future modifications and said he would be reporting back fto OEM and FEMA about the City's unique approach as well as the excellent quality of project construction.
