Please join the City of Brookings in welcoming its newest City Council member, Dennis Triglia, appointed by a unanimous vote of the City Council at its January 25, 2016.
Triglia fills Council Position #4, which was left vacant after Kelly McClain resigned his seat in November upon his relocation to Arizona.
Triglia was chosen from six applicants who appeared at the meeting and participated in the interview process.
After being sworn in by Judge Richard Harper, Triglia took his seat on the dais and participated in the remainder of the meeting.
Triglia will leave a vacancy on the City's Parks & Recreation Commission, of which he has been a member since June, 2016.
Triglia will finish out McClain's term, which expires in January, 2019.
