[ARCHIVED] Harris Beach campsites limited now...overnight camping closed October 1

Park Ranger, Anne Krug, has announced that changes in the construction schedule at Harris Beach State Park will allow a limited number of campsites to be open for camping during the month of September while paving and utility upgrades are being undertaken. These sites are currently available for reservations.

Overnight camping will still be closed from October 1, 2015 through May of 2016. No reservations will be taken for that time period. According to Krug, the day use area will remain open except for limited durations during the project period.

If you would like to make a reservation for the month of September, please call the Oregon State Parks Reservation Center at 1-800-452-5687, Monday - Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. You may also make reservations online at the link below. Customers arriving at the park with existing reservations will be able to extend their stays upon arrival.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the reservation center at the number listed above. You can also check for updates on the Harris Beach web page or call the park at 541-469-0224.
