Information on the projects proposed for funding under the National Disaster Resilience Competition (NDRC) and the State’s new Rural Resilience Oregon Incubator (RROI) initiative, will be the subject of a presentation provided by City Manager Gary Milliman at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, September 16, 2015.
The public meeting will be held in the Brookings Emergency Operating Center (EOC), located at 898 Elk Drive, directly across the parking lot from the Police Station.
The meeting will include a presentation of the four projects that may be included in the State’s NDRC application as well as information about the RROI program and how the proposed Brookings projects would fit into an overall community resiliency strategy. Detailed information about the Brookings projects will also be provided.
Public comment is invited on both the RROI and the Brookings projects.
