[ARCHIVED] Downtown Sidewalk Projects Set

Two segments of sidewalk are soon to be added to the 600 block of Hemlock Street and a sidewalk and storm drain pipe are scheduled to be installed on Alder Street, adjacent to the City-owned property commonly known as “Boulder Park," between Spruce and Hemlock.

The total estimated cost for these projects is $80,000.

The preferred option for Hemlock would be to install improvements matching those made along Spruce Street, however, the City lacks the $325,000 necessary to complete this larger project.

Slide and slip-out issues on North Bank Chetco River Road and Marine Drive have delayed other planned projects.
