Public Safety

Overview

The City of Brookings Public Safety Department is comprised of two divisions; Police and Fire & Rescue. Both divisions are staffed with highly trained individuals and supported by dedicated volunteers, each of whom shares the City's commitment to provide a safe environment in which to live, play, learn, work, and visit.

Emergency preparedness, volunteerism, and educational programs are integral to the Public Safety Department's mission.
