The seven-member Planning Commission reviews land use applications and the City’s Comprehensive Plan and makes decisions based on the City’s Land Use Code and state regulations. The Commission also serves as the Committee for Citizen Involvement (CCI).
At least five of the voting members must be registered City of Brookings voters; two members may be registered voters who reside within the Brookings Urban Growth Boundary. Planning Commissioners serve 4 year terms.
