The five-member Parks and Recreation Commission considers matters pertaining to the City’s parks and recreational programs and forwards its decisions to the City Council for final approval.
Staff support for this commission is provided by the Deputy Public Works & Development Director Jay Trost.
Four of the five commission members must be residents of Brookings, one member may be a resident within the Brookings Urban Growth Boundary. Park and Recreation Commissioners serve two year terms.
