Assisted Bi-Mart Corporation in securing a site for a 37,259 square foot retail store.
Assisted 24 downtown property/business owners in improving their retail building facades through a matching grant program.
Approved Detailed Development Plan for the first phase of a 1,000-unit residential development known as "Lone Ranch."
Reconstructed 11 blocks of downtown streets including new/expanded capacity water, sewer and storm drain improvements, sidewalks, street lights and furniture.
Expanded the City's water supply source, storage and fireflow capacity.
Assisted in the development of a new Southwestern Oregon Community College campus
Offered incentives to new restaurants and specialty food producers in the downtown area.
Extended water and sewer service to the Brookings Airport and adjacent industrial park site
Led the effort to secure State approval for a stand-alone Emergency Department at the Curry Medical Center in Brookings
Assumed operation of Salmon Run Golf Course, investing more than $200,000 in rehabilitating the facility
Funded a multi-faceted tourism promotion program
Secured funding for the reconstruction/widening of Railroad Street, a developing commercial street paralleling Highway 101
